A 360-Degree Mars Panorama was Created by Combining 142 Photos Sent from Perseverance

NASA created a 360-degree panorama of Mars by combining 142 photographs sent by Perseverance, which was making a soft landing on Mars. The institution that publishes the images it prepares on YouTube allows us to take a new look at Mars.

As of last week, NASA has taken a critical step in one of the most important space missions in history. The scout vehicle Perseverance, which the institution launched into space months ago, officially landed on the surface of Mars. Perseverance, who started working on the Red Planet with this landing, is currently busy looking for signs of life on Mars.

The events taking place are also closely followed by space lovers. However, there are some fake videos on this subject as well. Some social media accounts with millions of followers caused the spread of different images with their unwitting sharing. Now we're going to talk about new images shared by NASA that are 100 percent real.

142 high-resolution photos were combined to create a 360-degree view of Mars

NASA has combined the high-resolution photos taken by Perseverance. After combining 142 photos, NASA made these photos moving, thus creating a 360-degree view of the Red Planet. These images were also shared on the institution's official channel on YouTube.

What allows the image to be shared is the camera system named "Mastcam-Z" located on a pole at the end of Perseverance. This system, which has a very powerful zoom feature, will allow almost everything to be found on Mars to be examined by zooming. In addition, 3D images will be collected with this camera system and NASA will decide which parts will be brought to Earth with Mastcam-Z.

Here is the video showing the latest state of Mars
