Hyundai Shares Concept Images of Its New Electric Car Ioniq 5

South Korea-based automaker Hyundai has released concept images of its new electric car Ioniq 5. Giving a few details about the hardware during the promotion, the company stated that the Ioniq 5 will have a 500 km range and 600 volt charging support.

Ioniq 5 will be released in February and will be available in the US in the second quarter of this year.

Ioniq 5 accelerates to 100 km / h in 5.4 seconds

Although the Hyundai Ioniq 5 seems to have a standard bumper, the angular design used in the headlight group gives the vehicle a futuristic look. The 20-inch wheels with different structures used in the tire becomes sufficient to sustain the view. However, the Ioniq 5 has been an interesting car not only in terms of design but also in terms of equipment. With its 600 volt charging support, Ioniq 5 can fill the batteries 80% in 18 minutes and has a driving range of more than 500 kilometers at a time. The vehicle can also accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.4 seconds.

Built on Hyundai's rear-wheel drive E-GMP body, the car also has a 4-wheel drive system. The Ioniq 5 has a built-in 3.5 kW generator, so it can power many electrical devices from the treadmill to the oven.
